We put the front end back on the 699. It continues to work intermittently. My next step is to check the solenoid valve. I got a "T" so I can monitor the pressure from the solenoid valve. I am wondering if the issue could be in the coil, I have seen intermittent coils before. My theory is the solenoid works until the coil warms up and then it fails open.
Anyway the loader is now off the tractor and on the round baler so I need to find a time the tractor can be down. I plan to remove the plate below the operators feet to get to the solenoid. Paul

Solenoid failure sounds feasible. The gauge "T"eed in is the way to go. It will let you monitor what's happening with oil supply to the pack. You can then determine if your drive disengages at the same time as a possible pressure loss.If you have a loss of pressure, you could blank off the pipe supplying the pack, and then read off the pressure. This will tell you if the pressure loss is within the clutch pack when it warms up also.
I'm not sure if I asked before, has the IPTO been dropping out as well?
Let us know what you find,
Evan.
