Removing gas tank on 135

I have a Massey 135 that I need to remove the gas tank. The tank is empty, I have removed the two bolts on the rear of the tank and I found one bolt on the front that I have removed. I still cannot lift it out. Looking for advice?

Thanks

If my memory serves me correctly there is a carriage bolt with a spring and flat washers and a self locking nut located on either side of the top hose/thermostat housing.

If the tank is empty and all pipes are removed you may be able to lift the rear of the tank and slide the tank to the rear to clear the front bolts as the bolts locate in slots on the underside of the tank.

Thanks, I was able to get it out but I"m not sure how I will be able it get back in. The two bolts with springs are gonna be difficult, especially the one on the right.

When your ready to install take 2 7/16 inch open end wrenches and put the open end under the top of carriage bolt where the tank goes and when you push the tank forward the 7/16 will fall out and allow the spring to pinch the tank.

I had forgotten the spanner trick for reassembly, but then it was over 40 years since I was working on these tractors regularly.
