IPTO noise when engaging MF-135

I used PTO driven implements in the past with MF-135 IPTO. It engaged smoothly when moving the lever slowly.

I bough a 6'' wood chipper the flywheel weight is 165 LB when I engage the PTO (engine idle) there is sort of howling noise for 2 seconds no longer noise when fully engaged. Can it be worn clutch pack ?.

Could be low IPTO pump pressure. You can check it at the test port just behind the lever. Think it should be around 180 psi. There are two pumps in there, one for the 3-point and the other for IPTO. Filter my be plugged, lift cover must come off to get to it.
