Massey Ferguson 1428V will not start...

ok, I got on my tractor today and turned the key to start the tractor as I usually do. It turned over as it usually does and then went dead... To the point it started clicking... The battery has power (I tested it).

An now I'm at the point it either does nothing, completely nothing, or it's clicking at the starter... I've hooked a battery charger to jump it off, and still the same problem. Nothing or clicking...

Does anyone have an idea? Siliniod or starter gone bad, or electrical problems else where?

Make sure the battery post and cable clamp are shiny
bright. you can have a battery with all the juice
in the world but a bad connection won't allow the
current to get to the starter. I have a backhoe
that drives me nuts since it is used infrequently
and the battery is down in a well and hard to clean
the posts. Cleaning the connections always solves
the problem.

I've cleaned the battery cables/connection (that was one of the first things I did). I was wondering/hopping that someone else has experienced the same problem, and could tell me the siliniod or an electrical problem of some other sort...

When trying to start the tractor (turning the key) you get "NOTHING" or (if you get any type of current) there's a clicking inside the starter... I was wondering if it could be the siliniod or an electrical problem else where?
