Continental 162 163

Looking for info on the continental 162 or 163 engine. Its not in a massey but Ive found that this engine was used in some masseys. Ive got a ingersoll rand sand blaster, best i can tell by measuring and researching it has the 162 or the 163 engine in it. Engine is junk set without a head for years. Not wanting to sink a ton of money into rebuilding it, I was wondering where would be a good place to look for a better engine or what other continental engines would bolt in place of it? Any help would be apprecieated.

Thanks!
Kyle

The big difference between the 2 engines are the blocks, cranks & head. The F series also included the F-124 & the F-140. Outside dimensions are the same for all 3.
