massey 461 temp question

Hello All, Just recently bought a newer tractor, need a little help. I know that it is not even close to an antique, but hope someone can help.

The temp gauge doesnt work, that is one of the things that I really want to fix, it has a few other electrical issues too, but those I will tackle in time.
So I have heard the bit about grounding the sensor and you should see the gauge peg, well, funny thing, it appears to have two sending units. One with one prong, the other with two. The one prong does nothing when shorted, the two prong maxed the gauge. Strangely the gauge stayed pegged for a while, and it might have been purely coinicendental but the tractor blew the "stop," fuse and wounldn't start. I have since replaced the fuse, it starts and the gauge is back at the cold side.

My schematic only shows the one prong, which goes to the gauge, no listing of the two prong at all. Tracing the wiring, the one prong seems to go to the injection pump? the two prong goes into the wiring loom and is lost from there. (inspection of the gauge reveals nothing, as it is a full cluster and none are terrible recognizable.) I suppose it is possible that the schematic is wrong. Any idea what the other sending unit is for?

In case it helps, the other problems, the PTO light stays lit all the time, the 4wd light, doesn't light. And this is clearly seperate, but none of the lights work at all, no headlights, flashers, anyhthing.

By the way, almost forgot. It's a 2004, Massey Ferguson 461 mfwd. When I get these issues squared away, its going be an awesome machine.

Anyhow, thanks very much in advance, hope someone has some advice.
