Massey 255 power steering pump

I just replaced the front seal in the power steering pump and put it back on. It now steers really hard. The only thing I could have put back in wrong was the double spacer that goes between the front plate (where the gears are.). I'm going back out to the shop and pick up the front end of the tractor and turn the wheels while they are off the ground & see if It's just air in the system. Just wondering if anyone has a good diagram of the pump, the IT manual is just about useless when it comes to it. Keith
 
With the wheels off the ground, start the tractor and steer hard to the left/right, lock to lock 5-6 times. With any luck you just need to bleed the air out of the system. Good luck!
 
It didn't work so I guess I'm gonna have to pull it back off. I had everything laid out in order and with the right side up, gut it go moved while I was waiting for the seal to get here. I only pulled the front part off so it shouldn't be too difficult to change things around. Keith
