I have a 1960 MF 202 complete with loader and backhoe. Have the original manual for the tractor but not the loader and backhoe. Have been unable to find one. Does anybody know where I can get one or send me one. I will gladly offer a copy of the tractor manual in return, if anyone has the manual.

I have the same machine, assuming you have the 220 backhoe and 100 series loader (Davis), I was able to find user manuals for both online. When looking online, search for Davis backhoe and loader because that was the name of the company before MF took them over.
For parts manuals, go to http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/ and under the guest user heading, click on "view books". From there you can search and you will find parts diagrams for all of it.

Hi Andrew, You need to look at the loader and hoe
as they both have their own model nos. They are
not all the same model. they were sold with diff.
model loaders and hoes. Chuck

Thank u Chuck and Inno. Will look for the numbers, I am sure the original name plates are there but pretty faded. Will let u know. Tks again for ur help.

Hello guys,
Have finally figured out I have a 220 backhoe and a davis loader. Took the rotating cylinder off the other day to fix a leak. However not having a manual I am a bit puzzled about the shaft. The shaft has 8 pins 4 on each side of the vane. I have attached a picture. The threads are outward and the pins are free to move. They have scored the cylinder and obviously allowed the oil to leak by the vanes resulting in unwanted movement in the arm. I cannot see these pins in the parts manual u directed me to and it makes no sense to me as they will always score the cylinder the way they are installed. Can u tell me anything about them?? as I don't want to repair the cylinder and happen again. The bottom seals were rolled which was the cause of the leak. It was obviously a bad repair by someone who was pretty careless and I am wondering about the pins for the same reason.

Inno,
I do have a 220 backhoe. Presently refurbishing.
I have posted a picture, with some comments,of the backhoe cylinder shaft in my 220. You have the same backhoe I believe. Anyway perhaps u can have a look and any advice would be welcome.
Many tks

I have never had mine apart so I don't know how much help I will be. I do need to rebuild some cylinders though .
