Help Me ID MF 165 Engine

Hi I'm trying to ID the diesel engine on this MF 165. Here's why I'm confused.

1. My local dealer says it's a D4.203

2. The In-Frame Rebuild Kit I located for the D4.203 works for "ALL Engine SN: 2939036-29C1084"

3. The only #'s I can seem to locate on the engine are pictured below. (29D1692) The metal plate on the manifold has been sadly scratched beyond recognition by a previous person.

Only two types of diesel engine were offered in the 165....The
AD4/203 direct injection 4 cylinder 203 cubic inches with a cross
flow head and the exhaust pipe on the left hand side.....Or the
AD4/212 direct injection diesel, 212 cubic inches and the exhaust
on the right hand side.....This engine was not offered on the
American market, but the AG4/212 gas engine was. Your engine is
an AD4/203..........Sam
PS another tell tale sign is the power steeering pump and starter
motor are on opposite sides on both these engines.

Excellent! Thank you for the help. I suppose the rebuild kit # could be wrong. I have more questions, should I make a rebuild thread?
