mf 1085 pros cons

hi im looking at a mf 1085 what are the pros and cons to this tractor any comments apriciated !!!!!!!!! thank you husky

I just sold one of those with 4400 hrs. IMO there are no cons. One of the best 80 hp tractors made. Engines had weak head bolts from factory but by now they all should have been changed to updated ones. Mine had cab. Very nice cab and spacious for mid '70,s tractor. Windows in rear so you can sit in seat and see PTO shaft. Nice independent power steering . Built very heavy for an 80 hp tractor. Smooth running and very nimble because of short wheelbase. As any tractor that's 40 yrs old it can be a piece of crap or like mine,nice. Some farmers could ruin a 5020 JD pulling a 3 btm plow. They are a very well thought out tractor.
