Towing a Massey Ferguson 1155

Massey 1155 for sale but engine is stuck. Can this tractor be towed a short distance without doing it harm and would it be possible to steer it if it was travelling slowly? Im talking about one mile.

If you tow it place the hi-lo in hi range. I doubt you will be able to steer it. Can you use another large tractor with three point to pick up the front end, that's how I always moved most dead tractors. Pulled a 1100 home ten miles like that once behind a 1150, used a scrapped a frame 880 plow hitch on the three point. Used to move mobile homes with the hitch too.

That sounds like an excellent idea, I do have an A frame so could work if I buy the 1155.
