Well I think I found where my leak is. I cleaned it with degreaser and but baby powder on it and ran the engine while i looked. it appears to be the o-ring between the round part on the back of the pump where it joins the larger main round part of the pump. Anything special I need to know before I tear into it? It looks like I can just unhook the lines and seperate the parts but I know there are always suprizes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Danny,
Not on my main PC right now. I have addressed this in full in the past and have a file on my main PC as to how to proceed on this.

DO NOT in any case just pull the top off.

Will post when I can get back on main PC. Thunderstorm here right now electricity out. Tom

Thanks. I don't think I will have to pull the top off. I wish I had a exploded view of the inside parts of this thing. I'm hoping i won't have to remove the pump. the leak I have is where the two round parts of the pump fit together. The back part is where the injector lines connect.the othe part is where the top cover your talking about is located. Near as I can tell its leaking where those two meet. I believe there is a large o-ring there.

Yes, the top cover has to come off, the metering valve has to be removed and then the 3 bolts,1 on each side and 1 on the bottom..
and yes it does have an oring there.
You may as well get a gasket kit and change the top cover gasket and orings on the shafts while you have it apart. P# 7135-110.
I'll send you an email.

Thanks thepumpguysc. If you have some directions or diagrams I'd really appreciate them. I've never been in a injector pump however I am a mechanic and want to try. I'm just not sure about getting things out of time and things like that. I've looked on the web but can't seem to find any type of manual for this. Any help from you guys would be wonderful. And by the way I already have a kit on the way.
