I am wanting to know if the injector tips from a 640 Perkins will
fit the injector body for a 540 Perkins? If they will interchange
where is a good place to find a set? The local case IH dealer
wants several dollars for a new set of 8. Thanks in advance for
the help!

The tips I have in the 1155 are working fine now. I'm making a pulling tractor and wanting to upgrade the injectors. The 640 Perkins injectors are supposed to have larger holes and I'm curious if they will fit the 540 injector bodies.
 
I have a set of 1155 injector bodies with 2805 tips that were set up for a 9.5mm simms set for a 3000 rpm class. Let me know if you are interested.
