MF 35X Color scheme?

I am restoring an incredible 35X. Although I may do it differently, I would like to know what the original paint scheme was for this tractor. When I bought it the wheels looked like they had been painted silver, but who knows….. it could have been painted and repainted several times. I'd like to know.

This is the best restored example I know of. It is nearly perfect, with only the hydraulic quadrant painted grey instead of being plated with silver zinc..Keep your tractor to original British spec and colours, as it will make it stand out from the crowd at a show!. I personally hate to see American or French built tractors in Britain painted or modified to look like British tractors,and likewise I do not like to see British tractors modified to look American!........Sam
