Are the oil pumps the same between an early 44 and the later ones? I have a 1948 with the bolt in screen in the pan. I would prefer to go away from this with the later pan and have the internal pick up screen like my 51 model has. Can I just get swap the plumbing and pans or is the pump different as well?
