Creeper Gear box

Quite a few years ago I was looking for creeper gearing for 100 and 200 series MF's and did not have much luck. Keep us updated on what you do.

How slow do you need to go? Most people do field work at speeds I don't trust going down a paved road.
I went to fergies and Masseys because my old Allis Chalmers couldn't go slow enough for veg work at the lowest throttle. Great in hay fields, but just to fast and jumpy, always had a hold of the hand clutch. My bet? A live or independent pto massey will not go thro as much in clutch plates in 30 years as what a custom gearbox reduction will cost.
What are you doing with the tractor?

Creeper transmission are absolutely not made to pull.
With a 4/1 ratio, you will put 4 times the torque that the shafts where designed for.
A creeper is just designed to pull stuff that the tractor would have pull in regular gears, with tires slip being the limit.

You have a very nice tractor, it is a british one. How he ended up in the US? US had only 180 or 165 made in Detroit, right?
