My MF it seems is a David Brown, any ideas on model no etc

in the photo section there's a 30D that looks the
same maybe yours will look just as good if not
better one day

Hello Simon,
From what I can see with the air filter mounted on the side of the engine and the pronounced front axle casting that the number plate is mounted on it would appear that you have a DB 950 Implematic. As there is no registration number suffix it would appear to date from between 1960 and early 1964 before the original 'A' was introduced.
I don't know where you are but the number SFX is a Bournemouth registration.

I forgot to add that the seat although looking similar to the MF seat is the original type with a different method of mounting to the MF one.

My friend who worked at DB for many years informs me that if you were to get in touch with The David Brown Tractor Club quoting the serial number of your tractor they could probably pinpoint both the model number and the date of manufacture.http://www.dbtc.co.uk/
