65 diesel thermostat

As I am cleaning out the cooling system on my 1963
65 diesel I pulled out a bellows type thermostat.
The counterbore in the casting is 2.750" and I am
confused as to what to replace it with. I searched
the archives and found reference to replacements
with a Stant # 13358. My NAPA guy crossed that to
a NAPA 170 and that is a standard automotive
thermostat about 2.125" in diameter. What
thermostat fits in that large 2.75" counterbore?
Am I buying OEM for this? Tim

Found a NAPA 348-180 is the large diameter thermostat. The counter man took the time to look at the dimensions in the back of the book and found one that will work.
