55 and 55 lp questions

I have found a 55 and a 555 lp's for sale and I am looking for some info and rarity? both have hand clutches both engines are seized but everything looks good both have the wide clamshell fenders. thanks for any help as to rarity and value

The 55 serial # is 555GSH 1319

AND THE 555 # IS 555B1WH 20123

Any idea of the total produced and the years? None of my books say much thank you

value is tough...

about 20000 55s and about 3000 555s made of all fuels roughly

From my understanding most of the 555s were Standard axle foot clutch diesel. The gas models were rare so I am told. That would make the butane wide axle hand clutch models even more rare. From the serial numbers you have posted it would suggest that both tractors are very early productions of that model being the 55 started at 1001 and the 555 started at 20001 for the serial numbers.
