What year would a mhf 202 industrial serial number 300659? :lol:

The best I can do is pre 1958. That's when they switched from Massey-Harris Ferguson to Massey Ferguson and the first 202 industrial was built. It's serial number was 301172.
Someone else may have more specific info. The info I provided comes from tractordata.com .

The"Official Guide" which was used by all dealers
shows the same as what Inno found. All these have
been difficult and confusing over the yrs. Chuck

Yours is like mine, made in late '57. I have #JGF 300237. I don't think they were experiments or anthing like that, I'll bet the production teams were just getting a head start to begin selling MHF 202's in January 1958.
