Neighbor wants me to build him a ballast weight for his massey 231. When his FIL picks up a round bale, 1000#, his rear wheels come up. Rear tires have ballast.
A 55 gallon drum full of concrete will be close to the 1000#, However, we would have to position the drum as far back of the rear wheels as the 1000# hay is in front of the front wheels which may not be possible.
My concern is how much can the 3 pt lift?
Secondly, I would like to see pics of your ballast?
Don't care what it looks like, neighbor just wants it to work. I want to keep it simple.
Looking for a good idea. I can weld, have cement mixer.
