engine run for a couple mins then runs out of
gas.wait 15or 20 sec fires right back up runs a
couple mins cuts off again. there is no blockage
anywhere believe me ive checked everything about
20 times now and taken the carb apart the same,
nothing in the tank,or bowl, i even make a new
steel gas line. taken the spring off neddle to the
float cause it was actually binding the neddle.
still runs out of gas, floats set to 1/4 like it
supposed to be.no air leaks ,ive sprayed all
around intake and carb.
i hate to be a pain asking but at this point i am
stumped.....

I'd pull everything off the air inlet to eliminate it being stopped up then cut off the gas and unscrew the bowl drain and once it stops then cut on gas and watch how long it runs.

thats a good idea i will try that also. i have read somewhere that if you do that you should get about a pint of gas in about a minute

thank you everyone for the advice

I know you said a few seconds then starts back up i have been stumped on a similar problem it would start back up after 2 minutes thought it was gas, turned out to be the condenser it would warm up cut out like it was starving for fuel. Hey it might be worth a try it's cheap

Hey Trac that was good advice. it ended up being electrical. i had replaced the coil and it needed an external resistor. the point were getting hot and shutting down. i put new points and a resistor on the coil this morning and the tractor runs fine now . Thank you very much

Are you CERTAIN that your problem is carburetion and not ignition?

There are ignition problems that are regularly diagnosed as carburetion issues.
