I would say it depends on if you want to use it? (rebuild motor) or not....restore it or not? etc. What were you thinking of doing with it?

As a Massey owner, I love mine, but it is real expensive and hard to get parts for them. I would collect something else if you do not have an emotional connection to one.

The tractor looks to be complete, should be worth 1500 to 2000 even for parting out. I have a 444 and this 333 looks like a identical match except for the 333 badge. Week point is the front steering tower...look this over for cracks and breaks where it bolts to the front frame tub.
These tractors are fairly easy to transplant a newer and differant engine if you want, I put a JD- 4 cyl. gas engine in mine...works and runs real well, nice handy tractor.

I can't tell you what they are worth but I've always wanted a 333 or a 444 but when ever I've found one they are always listed for a lot more than people are telling you they are worth. Heck, a regular 33 or 44 bring more than $1000-$1500 and they have smaller motors, no live pto, power steering etc...

How can you tell the guy a complete 333 is worth $800-$1000 then think a common standard 44 is worth $950? Not saying yours isn't worth it but the 333 is worth much more in my opinion.

thanks for the posts and comments I took the head off todays the sleeves look rough its been stuck at some time im still thinking on it but im most likely going to part it out ill probably start dismantling it this weekend a couple of people have already emailed and asked about parts ill end up listing some parts on ebay next week

because you said a reg. 44 brings more than 1000.00 to 1500.00. and i dont think so , so i will sell this one for what ever. nothing special about that 333. massey is not a high selling tractor. that one looks rough thats why i gave it that price.

jth, It is your call but whether you restore or part it out don't under estimate this tractor's value.

According to my records there were only 2648 tractors built in the two years they were in production, 1956-57.

Rare tractor so either way parts or complete it should have good value.

Being rare and if it needs a lot of replacement parts it would be a chore to restore. On the other hand that makes your tractor parts valuable to the guy who is restoring one.

Good luck, Bill
