MF 34A Industrial Loader Valve Caps

Wondering how to get the caps off at the bottom of the loader valve body. Boom lift function won't work unless the cap under that valve is heated. Sadly, we currently have no heated shop to park it in and it's needed for snow clearing. With 2-3 minutes of the heat gun pointed at it, the action is fully restored. We figure there must be water accumulated down there and thought the cap could be removed and dumped. However it won't come loose from the valve inside and I'm leery of pulling the valve out completely. Parts diagram is unclear but looks like there might be a set screw at the bottom that holds the valve, though it didn't look like there was one when looking at the cap itself. The cap looks like a 3 piece part. Do the body parts thread together? Is there an allen head screw in the bottom that ties it together? The complete valve section doesn't easily want to drop out with the cap and I'm afraid of something getting out of place further up in the bore if I do pull it out completely. It's a hard push to get it back in when just dropped down partially. Hopefully the pics will upload. Thanks for any and all help. MK
