Massey 150 Hydraulics

The multi power pump on my 1970 MF 150 (Perkins diesel) has a holoe worn in it from the idler gear that drives the pump. Can I leave the multi power pump off when I reassemble? I was thinking I would bolt the multi power clutch pack together so the tractor would not free wheel on slopes. The brass bushings on the pump are also badly worn. Is there a hydraulic pump rebuild kit available? Thanks

look for masseynut. I used his plan to lock my multi power in low and left the pump off.

I think I've seen it. Is that the one where you replace a spring with a washer? I wanted to avoid splitting the tractor. I wonder if I could just remove the multipower pump and plumbing and leave it in low with no engine braking. It hasn't worked for 10 years anyhow. I think I'm going to have to rebuild the hydraulic pump. Thanks for the reply.
