mf-65 how to flush power steering what type of fluid?

Just got used p.s. unit for mf-65 and wondering should unit be flushed first(what to use to flush) & what type of fluid to use for p.s. unit-power steering fluid or tranny fluid or hydraulic fluid?

You probably clean it up with kerosene or gas. I just run hydraulic fluid in mine.

Dexron ATF is what they are 'supposed' to run. Not sure if running hydraulic oil in them for extended periods is bad or not. Lots of opinion expressed on that subject over the years here.
