My other woman MF 135

I have followed advice given on this forum in relation to a hydraulic issue posted on the 28.09.13. I removed the draft control spring assembly& replaced the plunger, rocker yoke, bushes & rubber boot on my MF 135
Once re installed the hydraulics appear to lift the slasher and operate as designed.

Alas my PTO is not working, I did remove the PTO plate & lever to access the filter initially , I thought I had re-installed correctly but it appears not.

Can you offer some advice on this subject ??

You see the groove in the PTO gear in this photo?

That is where the leg of the PTO engagement lever has to fit so as to slide the gear forwards or back to select the drive....

This pic is taken from the other side, you can now see the leg of the lever engaged 'in the groove man!'

Hope that helps......Sam

Thanks samn40

Yes I didn't have the leg of the lever engaged in groove, possibly because the stamping on the outside indicating neutral is not quite aligned, to true neutral.

Yes I didn't have the leg of the lever engaged in groove, possibly because the stamping on the outside indicating neutral is not quite aligned, to true neutral. The lesson I learnt was find neutral at the rear of the pto lever plate assembly.

thanks again
