This 2805 will move in all forward gears and ranges. Tractor will NOT move in reverse at all. It does seems as if it is trying, but is unable to move. Any help or suggestions troubleshooting this problem will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Its going to have to be split there is a transmission in a transmission if that makes sense, the reverse clutch has busted loose, If you drain the hydraulic oil chances are the will be these little screw heads that come out of the drain hole, last one we did ran just over $8000.00

Could also have frozen water in the hi low shift valve if it cold where you are at. I have had mine do that. A little heat on the valve on the right side of the trans, and you can hear it shift into low.

The lo/reverse and high range clutches are oil applied, spring released. The intermediate clutch is spring applied, and oil released when either the lo or hi is applied. When low clutch fails reverse is lost also. MF made some changes to improve piston seal failure trouble on the lo apply piston and intermediate release piston. If just one fails both clutches apply, usually burning the low one first. Never tried it but this tractor should be able to pull start, since the intermediate clutch is spring appleid.
