MH piston ring set

I have a set of new piston rings that I dont know what they are for.
They are in a yellow & blue box with MHF genuine parts written all over it. Only part number I have is written in pen on top 1500718m9
This part number comes up as for the 55 MH tractor. But I cannot find this number anywhere in Agco parts books. Cant find a cross number anywhere either.
Tags inside on ring sets read..
compression K-spun 4 1/2 std 1/8
flex compression 4 1/2 std 1/8
porous chrome compression K-spun 4 1/2 std 1/8
flexible oilcutter 4 1/2 std 1/4
Anyone out there have a parts book that can confirm these fit a 55?
Thank you in advance,
Wayne

The box has 4 separately wrapped sets of rings with the tags I mentioned. (1 on each)
Each set has 4 rings inside. one set has the thicker oilcutter rings with 4 springs also in the set.
The flex compression set also has the springs.
Total rings in the box is 16 plus the two sets of springs.
By my figuring this set should be for the gas engines?
Thanks, Wayne

Yeah...I noticed that in the pictures in parts books.
I have an old (where used) parts list that shows the number I have (1500718m91) to fit the 55, but I cant seem to cross the part number of 840926m91 to the one I have on the box.

Hi Wayne, On my old micro fiche cards (machine
used on) the 840926m9l shows up as used on the
555 series. Chuck

Hi Chuck
Yes I have an old microfiche too. My fiche shows the part number 1500718m91 and 840926m91 to fit the 55.
What im looking for is some confirmation that the 1500718m91 subs up to part number 840926m91.
I suspect that they are the same parts. But I dont know for sure.
Usually I can find some site on the web that will show the two part numbers together representing the same part.
However in this case I can only find this part number (1500718m91) in my old fische that just says it is for the 55 MH, but there is no such number in the 55 parts book.
I am looking to sell these rings on E-bay in the future and just like to know for sure I have the right part numbers.
Thank you for your input,
Wayne

Hi Wayne, I took out my old "sub" books. Both the
1500718M91 and the 840 926M91 in a 1979 book sub
to 836 135M91 so they should be the same. Shows
same info in other yrs of old books so accurate.
Chuck

Hi Chuck
Thank you for the info. You are right this number sub up to the 55 gas ring set, in my books.
Maybe we figured this one out.
Thanks again,
Wayne
