Got a deal on this tractor but after a few weeks
it stopped running. I changed the fuel filter and
bled the fuel lines as per the procedure I got
here and on YOUTUBE. I am not sure what to expect.
I get spray at all 3 nozzles but it doesn't look
like much. Just a few drops it seems. It does
atomize the fuel. Is there a video I could watch
to see what it is suppose to look like?
Is there a fuel pressure test?
Do I need a pump rebuild?
Also ... It has the "shuttle drive" I believe you
call it. One peddle for forward and one for
reverse with no clutch. My question is...I only
find 2 gears on the sift stick and hi/lo on the
transfer case stick for a combined total of 4
speeds. Am I correct in assuming this????
Thanks for any advice you have.

You have the same 4 speed converter drive transmission my forklift has. If the engine has had any water in fuel in the past the plungers and/or metering valve may be stuck. The last two CAV DPA pumps I repaired had the same trouble. One more thing to check, if Wix or Napa filters are used make sure the top filter inlet groove is not plugged with an extra O ring as that restricts fuel flow.

You are correct on the 2spd whi-lo. It's really handy for front loader work. I have a 30B TLB. The man I bought it off of told me they put regular hydraulic oil in it for a while, then had to get everything flushed out when the shuttle went out of it. Use the permatran only in it, and although it will pull a lot..don't.
