just bought a 8140 massey ferguson,, Anything I need to be aware of----weaknesses or such

Be certain to keep two batteries on and fully charged any loss of voltage and the three point won't work, only major problem we ever had is the hydraulic supply line would come lose under the cab and it requires a 1 11/16 crows foot to tighten the dang thing would just back off and we would have a hydraulic leak at least monthly. My dad enjoyed operating the tractor and for the most part found it to be a nice capable tractor.

yea already experienced that. Alternator wasn't working when we got it,(didn't know this),and batteries went dead -- dropped plow in driveway.
Still learning new things on it--- thanks for the reply
