MHF Model 50 hydraulic pump

I called the AGCO/Massey dealer about a rebuild kit for the 3 pt. pump in my MF 50, built in late '57. They said they could get one (YT, Steiner, etc all start with later serial #'s). Pulled the pump and headed to Seguin. Turns out the kit was for the later pump. My pump - extinct. New pump on order. At least they had parts for the lift cylinder. Seems like the older I get the more of my parts are extinct.

I have seen in several cases where parts are made for these machines as they get even older due yo demand. All in all the MF50 is pretty easy to get parts for, Massey used a lot of part from other models that are used in the MF 50....Good luck.

Know what you mean. I walk in my barn, there's the Commando 800 Wheel-Horse, there's the Pioneer 1200 chain saw, there's the old cast iron Delta drill press, the big heavy Delta 4" sander, the band saw no motor will fit... ain't feeling too spry myself.

and in the gun dept. I have a Model 99 Savage .250-3000. Winchester has quit making silvertips that caliber for the second time. Fortunately I have several boxes. And a Winchester 1907 autoloader in .351. Found some shells for $4.97 each, limit 1 per customer. I still don't have any ammo for it.
