44 float setting

Hate to keep asking .. waiting on the manual.

What is the float adjustment on a 44 carb ( Zenith) I read 1 5/8" . how do you measure ? if it need adjusted where/how do you bend.

This is how I set the floats on all my massey tractors.With carburetor taken apart take the top half that holds the needle and set and float.Turn it upside down so float is sitting on needle.Very carefully push down on float bowls until they sit parallel to the straight edge of the top piece of carburetor.I have had very good success with setting them this way.
