I've purchased a Massey Ferguson "35 X" 3 cyl. Perkins "Made in England" The Serial Tag is missing from the DASH however the original Manual has this info No.'s inscribed
S# on Engine Block "152 ua" "120416D"
S# off Dash "9A-6672"
S# off something on the TRACTOR "1968212 c"
Any ideas of the manufactured DATE and what the above numbers mean?
Bob

Look under the sump, where it slopes upwards slightly at the front, there should be a date code. Also look around the rear end dipstick area there also should be a code. Come back to me with that code and Iwill try to date it for you. You have bought an excellent and very popular tractor there. If you need any help with anything or need any parts call me.........Sam
