Massey 65 diesel

Because you supplied so little info. I am going to assume you mean a coolant heater that plugs in to warm the engine in cold weather. There is a pipe plug access near the rear lower right hand side of the block, then you have to hang heater hose and the heat unit connected to a tee fitting back into the thermostat housing. It's a cumbersome, bulky mess. Or you could purchase the freeze plug block heater unit. (Under $40). Pop a freeze plug, install, and you have a clean simple block heater. If you really want one of the exterior units, I have one I was going to throw away, your welcome to it.

I agree with Tequila. Mine all have an element that go in the softplug. My aftermarket waterpump does have a pipeplug to hook to, but you'd still have to plumb a return into the block. I think the softplug heater would be a lot simpler fix.

Look for the type that can be spliced into the lower radiator hose. We have one in our MF 205 diesel and Ford 2N. Not as high wattage as circulating type, but work fine.
