MF35 Steering Bearings and Cups

I purchased the steering shaft bearing and cup assembly from this site. Now how do I get the old cups out? The upper I've got started and can probably get it, but the lower I'm not sure about. I have most tools to include a press but no acetylene torch. I can get access to one if needed. It is manual steering. Thanks for any help. Kevin

An old trick with tight bearing cups in housings, get the stick welder out, set at around 110amps and weld a "bead" around the bearing surface of the cup.
Now let the cup cool sufficiently, and they will nearly always fall out in your hand...

Thanks I may try that. The bottom one will be hard to get to and if it don't work Ill be stuck, so I may leave the bottom one alone. It aint too bad.
