Got the injection pump rebuilt...now I have fuel line leaks

I went thru my injection pump on my 175. It wasn"t nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but when I fired the tractor up I had some injector lines leaking where they screw onto the pump. Is this a common occurrence? I guess the only way to fix it is to get new lines isn"t it? Thank you for all the help.
 
Can you tell if the leak is at the line nut, or at the banjo bolt fitting on hydraulic head? Lines seldom need replaced. Banjo bolts need to be really tight to get the steel line washers to seal.
 
From what I can see it is leaking at the line nut. Somebody before me had cranked the line nuts down so tight that you can see where the compression fitting had dug into the fitting that the banjo bolt goes thru. It shouldn"t be like that should it?
 
Have seen the banjo fittings that have a mark left from the line ferrel. If line nut is tightened, loostened, and retightened 4 or 5 times you may get it to seal. May help to remove the banjo and flip it over too. The ferrel may or may not seal better that way. Line and banjo both may need replaced together if you can't get it to seal, one or both may have a small crack.
 
Well I don"t guess it matters now. The pump is leaking exactly at the same place where it was leaking before I took it apart. Where the rotor and head assembly goes into the pump housing. It was leaking there and I figured that oring was bad. I was really careful when I put it back together and lubed the new oring and slid it together, but it"s still dripping.
