Thinking about that 22

That 22 I looked at last week has been on my mind.

Engine's stuck. Rear rims are shot. Tires are loaded.

Exhaust is covered. Oil looks good. There's antifreeze in the radiator.

He wants $650 but I think he'll take less if he knows it will go to a good home and live to see another day.

What do you think?

I would make him a offer at half the price and work
from there. From what you have posted it will need a
fair amount of work. Then come the old question how
bad does a person want it.I know a person that just
bought a 55 massey,a 44 massey and a three bottom
plow for six hundred dollars. The tractors don-not
run but one has basically new rear tires.

IMO, with shot rims & stuck engine, offer him scrap price for it.

i would go for it, my grandpa has a 22 that has a sprayer on it 99 percent of the time, and i think its my favorite one to drive, its nice and small, yet peppy and fun. i like nothing better than to drive that 22 through the wind break while he sprays weeds, even if it is almost 100 degrees and no wind
