MF Transmission Fluid Questions

Hello, I have 1965 MF 65 Gas tractor. I am trying to figure out how much transmission fluid I need to fill it properly. The fill cap seems to be directly to the left of the gear shift. There isn't a dip stick that I can find to check this. I am confused because there is a dip stick on the right side of the tractor seat that reads full. It looks to me that the transmission section of the tractor and the section under the seat use the same lubricant. Sorry my terminology is lame. Thanks for any help.
 
I'm going to add to my original posting to clarify my question after reading the archives. I understand that the transmission and rear hydraulics use the same lubricant. The dip stick by the seat reads full, but on opening the fill cap by the gear shift the transmission looks almost empty of lubricant. Is this normal? Also, if there is a leak of fluid would it come through the plate directly under the gear shift?
 
The dip stick by your right foot is the ONLY one for the trans/differential. If it reads full on level ground ur good to go :)

The inspection plate under the tractor is for access to PTO clutch adjustment. There is a bent cotter pin hanging from a hole in her belly, that is to keep the hole open for any seal leakage.

I drilled an extra hole in the center of the inspection cover, installed another cotter pin in it also. Then if you have an oil leak, front hole=engine, rear hole=transmission.
