bush hogging and after getting hot and running for a short time it cuts out and shut off. If I let it set for a few minutes it will start up and run but not for long. I replaced the coil last year and thought this cured the problem, but it has returned. Where do it start looking now to fix this problem. I"m thinking it could be in the fuel line or carb, kind of acting like it is starved for fuel. Any suggestion appreciated.

I would suggest checking the petcock where the fuel comes out of the tank. My 231 give me fits doing that same thing when working it hard. I guy on here made the same suggestion. I found it to be clogged with crud, problem solved, in my case anyway. My 231 has just a cheap plastic petcock on it, I'm not sure about your 230.

If it's not a fuel issue i have have the key switch do the same thing once it got warm she would shut down it took me about 3 days and a hand full of money to figure that one out.

Thanks fellows for taking the time to reply and for the tips I would never have thought about. After submitting my problem I got to thinking it might be a vapor lock issue. Today I cleaned the radiator with compress air and there was quite a bit of hay crud at the bottom. If this doesn"t cure the problem I"ll follow up with your suggestions.
