I have a 1969 Massey Ferguson 135 with a 152AG Perkins motor and 6 speed transmission without a pressure control lift and I"m looking for some help with a hydraulics problem. I was cutting down my grass in my pastures with a rotatory cutter when the lift all of a sudden dropped down. The lift will raise with no weight on it but I"m able to push it down with my hand. I always got good information from this forum in the past so I looked a some postings in this forum. From what I read the lift acted like there was a leak somewhere in the hydraulic system. I drained about 3 gallons of fluid from the system and removed the draft response control cover on the right side. I turned the turned the pump on and noticed fluid squired out of what I think is the pressure relieve valve. I think that"s the problem. Can this be changed out without removing the lift cover? It looks like a tight fit through the draft response control cover. I"m including a picture of the valve with the pump running.
