just replacing a blowen head gasket on my 152 perkins 3 cyl diesel it's in a 73 mf 135
can't find my manual probably buried in the storage locker so i need the torque specs for my head bolts
many thanks should anyone have them

Hi,
The MF figures given for the 550 tractor with the AD3.152 engine are to tighten in three equal stages to 75 lbf (100Nm)working from the centre in ever-increasing circles.
DavidP, South Wales

I'd also re-torque again to the tension David has nominated, after 25 to 50 hours of use.
But it's important to fully slacken each bolt in turn before re-torquing, not just wrench it down at that setting,
Evan.

Thanks DavidP got it back together and running.
It's been back back out in the field hauling straw all afternoon
will also try to re torque the head around the 50 hr mark as per Masseynut's suggestion. It should be quieter time then as it will be during the winter

run it for an hour, at operating temp .. then retorque.. don t cheat and pull them 10 or 20 over upfront as that ll pull the threads out of the block..
