Hi All,
My son has a MF 50, I believe made in 1959. The bracket under the rear axle that the swinging drawbar pivots on is getting a bit worn and needs to be taken off to weld it a bit. I hope this isn't a foolish question :? , but can the four bolts be removed without any oil leaking from the rear end? Are the bolt holes drilled and tapped clear through into the axle housing or are they blind holes? My first inclination is to say no they do not go clear through, but I thought I would ask the many experienced folks here on YT. Thanks.
