I have a MF3165 industrial backhoe with a 6 speed
manual shuttle tranny. The carrier assembly
(planetary) exploded and stripped out the mainshaft.
The mainshaft is 12.47" long and 18 spline.
505698M1 This is a very rare part and dealer wants
over $500 for it. I was wondering if it would be
possible to swap the shaft and planetary out with
another similar (cheaper) model or does anyone have
any other advice or suggestions?
