massey 253 hydraulic pump removal

I have the lift cover off--the side plates removed--the filter out-- the top shaft out and the lines removed---what would I need to take out next---ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

Not sure about the 253 but most Massey's pump is held in place by 2 pins which are attached to plates on the outside of the trans case (1 on each side of case) small plates with 2 bolts in them.

I have the locating dowls out--rear pto shaft out even took the pinion carrier out--- maybe there is a trick to it but can not seem to be able to get it out through the opening in the top-- HOPE SOMEONE CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS PROCESS---
