super90 injectors

I have been getting diesel fuel in my crankcase. Seems to accumulate while parked, shutoff. Dealer shop worked on it and
Its still not fixed. They said only 2 things can cause this, either the lift pump or injector pump. Both have been worked on. So I suspect fuel gravity feeding through a leaky injector. But I am not that familiadr with such possibilities on a diesel engine. Theolder engine doesn"t have a solenoid valve to cut off fuel when shut off, and the tank being higher than the engine maybe it can dripinto cylinder and bleed into crankcase. ???? It runs good when running. But I cant run it now. If so, who works onthese old injectors???? Someone good at it.???

I doubt it's injectors. More likely the fuel fed thermostart assembly that's threaded into intake manifold for cold weather starting. If it ever gets overheated the stop valve will fail and let fuel leak past into the manifold while engine is off. Remove the unit and try to blow through the fuel inlet fitting, no air should get through. If it does you found your leak. Let us know what you find.
