Steve I was pretty sure it was your quick coupler, but There are a couple of things yo try. get you a hose plug into a coupler and the other end leave open, take off the fill cap and have someone work the valve, this is called a hillbilly flow test, no offense" do this on both couplers, Let"s see what it will do free flowing. A 5000psi gauge is only $40 and a small 1/4 hose 3500psi rating not to much.. Let me know what you find, we try not to leave you out in the cold... Another thing you can try is make a short hose with 2 male couplers and plug them in top to bottom, you should be able to feel flow going through it, or if you have a restriction it will or may load down the motor, are you with me?
