I have recently bought this MF 175 with 3200 hours on it. the brakes didn't work very good, so after crawling underneath the tractor I discovered that the right brake rod was bent up really bad. I took it off and straightened it out and after looking at the repair manual I got it adjusted so it'll drag the right side tire when you jump on the brake at 2 to 4mph or so. I've tried everything I can think of to get the left side to work and I get very little brake on that side. So I think that probably the left side may have been used the most and is just plain worn out. However, this tractor has the MF 32 loader on it and it was the 3rd tractor on the farm and it has sat a while under a covered roof, so maybe it is stuck a little bit?? any ideas??
