Baled hay this weekend with my new to me MF cab tractor. Everything went fine, was the first time with a monitor. With the engine running normal temperature and RPM's, working speed, there's no problems, engine sounds very good. When I cut the RPM's all the way back to an idle the oil light comes on. Rib the engine up, the light goes out.

Do you think it's an oil pump problem or maybe a censor. Like I said, the engine sounds normal, no clicks, knocks or vibrations.

First things first, remove the oil pressure switch and fit a master gauge.
This will tell you if the switch is faulty and/or if the oil pressure is down,
Evan.

Don't have a manual yet, by any chance can you tell where the sensor is. There's a bush hog loader on it and hard to look inside engine compartment. I know it's somewhere around the oil filter (on most) somewhere. I bought a new sensor when I was near a MF place the other day.
