Steering cylinder 1959 MF204

Anyone have a good used left side steering cylinder that will fit a 1959 MF204? I think one from a MF35 might be the same but not sure. They want over $200 for a new one........ This piece of crap is adding up really quick......should have towed it to the scrap yard.

The 35"s, 135"s, and probably more all used the steering cylinder that was built into the steering column, rather than the "tie rod" style cylinder on the industrial tractors..... Don"t lose hope yet, these old tractors are worth it when done (unless you are just trying to sell it)

Check out surpluscenter.com. I bought two for my 202 there, approx $100 each.
If you are trying to fix/sell the tractor it's prob. not worth it. To fix and use, definitely!! I have put a lot into my 202 and it always need something but it does do a LOT of work for me.
The 35 and similar did not use cylinders up front.

Yeah, we aren't trying to fix and sell , but both Dad and I are getting a little bummed about all that is wrong with this thing. First the engine that was supposed to have "ran when I parked it" had a broken cam courtesy of a seized p/s pump and severely scored pistons from the rods being put in backwards. Get the motor running and drive the tractor out of the shop to hear a loud banging in the belly, hydro pump in pieces.Buy a used hydro pump and p/s pump, $350 for the pair. Still can't get the hydro to work right. Realize the auto reverse tranny is pouring fluid, split it again. Re seal tranny and try to tune engine, governor not working at all. Now p/s cylinder is pouring fluid. So I need to fix the governor, fix the p/s, and still deal with the hydraulics...... Oh and we haven't even tried the loader yet, it's still sitting behind the shed. Arrrggghhhh
Rant over
